Dehua porcelain, also known as Blanc de Chine ('White from China' in French), is a renowned type of white Chinese porcelain originating from Dehua in Fujian province. Produced since the Ming dynasty (1368–1644) to present times, it became popular as Chinese export porcelain in 18th-century Europe and was imitated at Meissen and other centers. It was extensively exported to Japan as well. In 2021, the Dehua kilns were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List for their historical significance in maritime trade and cultural exchange.
