This crown of the Five Dhyani Buddhas is crafted from brass and plated in either silver or gold by Nepali coppersmiths. Each of the five panels depicts one of the Five Buddhas – Amitabha, Vairochana, Akshobhya, Ratnasambhava, and Amoghasiddhi – seated on a lotus throne. The shrine-shaped panels are bound at the base with cotton ground red damask and lined with red cotton cloth at the back. Each panel is adorned with wish-fulfilling jewels, eight auspicious symbols, a lotus throne, and elephants.
