A serkyem, also referred to as a Dharmapala offering, is used in rituals to honor Protector deities and guardians. Consisting of two pieces—a chalice and a basin—the serkyem is traditionally filled with tea, wine, and various tsok substances. This offering symbolizes continuous protection and the propagation of dharma teachings. In Tibetan, 'ser' means gold and 'kyem' means drink.
