Tibetan Vajrakilaya Garuda Copper Gau Amulet Pendant - Classic Mini Shrine Ghau from Yachen Gar, Available in 2 Sizes & 3 Colors

This Copper Gau Box showcases a classic Tibetan design with a central Vajrakilaya statue, adorned with floral motifs and wish-fulfilling jewels. Designed and commissioned by Yachen Gar in Kham, Tibet, it bears the monastery's name and a majestic Garuda carved on the back cover.

Vajrakilaya, the wrathful yidam deity, embodies the enlightened activities of all buddhas, known for removing obstacles and purifying spiritual pollution. The Garuda, a symbol of wisdom in Buddhism, is considered the adversary of Naga.

The Gau, or Gawu, is a Tibetan amulet box traditionally filled with sacred objects like small statues or relics, serving as a portable shrine and offering protection to the wearer.

Yachen Gar, founded by Akhyuk Rinpoche in 1980, is one of the world's largest monastic centers, home to over 10,000 Sangha members.
